OVERVIEW

Welcome to Robotin! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Robotin. We operate this website and store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, to provide you (the “Customer”) with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).

Robotin is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide these Services. Initial sales may also be conducted through Kickstarter, a third-party crowdfunding platform. By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, including pledging on Kickstarter, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not use or access the Services.

1. Access and Account

  • By using our Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

  • If you use our Services on behalf of minors (e.g., dependents using devices you manage), you accept responsibility for their use.

  • To purchase or pledge, you may be asked to provide information (e.g., name, email, billing and shipping address). You represent and warrant this information is accurate and complete.

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Our Products

  • We strive to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee screen display accuracy (e.g., color variations).

  • All product descriptions, specifications, and availability are subject to change without notice.

  • We may discontinue any product or service, or limit sales by person, region, or jurisdiction.

  • Products are offered for personal and household use only, not for resale.

3. Orders and Kickstarter Pledges

  • Kickstarter pledges: When you back Robotin on Kickstarter, your pledge constitutes a pre-order governed by Kickstarter’s Terms of Use and payment rules. Kickstarter (and its payment partners such as Stripe) will process your payment, and Robotin does not store your payment information. Fulfillment is contingent on the successful completion of our campaign.

  • Direct store orders (Shopify): When you place an order on our online store, it constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or reject orders at our sole discretion. Orders are not binding until confirmed by us.

  • Your purchases and pledges are subject to our Return and Refund Policy, except where Kickstarter’s policies apply.

4. Prices and Billing

  • Prices are shown in the applicable currency and are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the one in effect at the time of your order/pledge.

  • Posted prices do not include taxes, duties, shipping, handling, or customs charges, unless explicitly stated. You are responsible for such charges.

  • You agree to provide current and accurate billing and payment information.

  • For Kickstarter pledges, payment authorization and processing are managed exclusively by Kickstarter and its payment processors.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • We currently deliver to:

    • North America: United States, Canada

    • Europe: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy

    • Australia

  • Shipping and delivery times are estimates only and may be impacted by carrier delays, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

  • Risk of loss and title pass to you upon our delivery of products to the carrier.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials in our Services, including trademarks, text, graphics, images, videos, and software, are owned by Robotin or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use may violate intellectual property laws.

7. Optional Tools and Third-Party Links

  • We may provide access to third-party tools or links. These are offered “as is” and without warranties.

  • Your use of third-party tools or sites is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.

  • We are not responsible for any transactions, damages, or disputes arising from third-party sites (including Kickstarter).

8. Relationship with Shopify & Kickstarter

  • Shopify: We use Shopify to power our online store. However, sales are directly between you and Robotin. Shopify is not responsible for any claims arising from purchases with us.

  • Kickstarter: Pledges on Kickstarter are made through Kickstarter under its Terms of Use. Robotin is responsible only for fulfillment of rewards once funds are successfully transferred to us by Kickstarter. Kickstarter is not a party to Robotin’s obligations to you.

9. Feedback

By submitting suggestions, reviews, or other feedback, you grant Robotin a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use such content for any purpose, including improvement and promotion.

10. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

We may occasionally correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, or availability. We reserve the right to update or cancel orders where such errors occur.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services:

  • For unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;

  • To infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;

  • To transmit spam, malware, or harmful content;

  • To resell products without authorization;

  • To interfere with or circumvent security features.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate your access to the Services at any time without notice. Upon termination, provisions such as Intellectual Property, Feedback, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except where expressly stated, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow disclaimers, so these limitations may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robotin, its affiliates, officers, employees, or service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or delays) arising from your use of the Services or products.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Robotin, Shopify, Kickstarter, and their affiliates from claims or damages arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law. You consent to jurisdiction in California courts.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
