Become a Robot Carpet Cleaner Distributor
The first robot that vacuums carpet and also washes and dries it. Territories are open now, ahead of bulk ordering in the first quarter of 2027.
Robotin is appointing distributors and dealers for the R2 Pro, the first robot that vacuums carpet and also washes and dries it. Territories are being reserved now, ahead of bulk ordering opening in the first quarter of 2027.
Worth saying plainly before you apply, because it saves everyone time. Reserving a territory is not the same as placing an order. There is no local inventory anywhere yet, and first orders are placed when the window opens in early 2027. The partners who agree terms now are the ones ready to order the moment it does.
Apply for a territory
The form below takes about three minutes. The fields that matter most are your company, your website, and the note at the end: tell us what you sell now, which market you cover, and how you would put this product in front of a customer. A short honest answer to that gets a faster reply than a long answer to everything else.
We read every application ourselves and reply within five working days. If your business is an obvious fit, the next step is a call. Everything you might reasonably want to read first, from the commercial terms to where certification stands, sits directly underneath the form.
Reserve now, order in early 2027
The R2 Pro is pre-production. We are running a Kickstarter campaign and building toward commercial release, so what happens between reserving a territory and placing a first order runs in three stages.
- Stage one, nowTerritory reservedYou apply, we talk, and the territory, pricing tier and launch plan are agreed in writing.
- Stage two, through 2026Certification and productionCE and UKCA conformity assessment runs alongside tooling and the production schedule.
- Stage three, Jan to Mar 2027Bulk ordering opensAppointed partners place first orders against the production run.
Nothing in stage one asks you for money or commits you to stock. What it does is put the commercial work behind you, so that when the window opens you are ordering rather than starting a conversation.
A category that did not exist two years ago
Carpet has been the awkward part of robot floor care from the start. Robot vacuums pick up loose soil. Robot mops handle hard floors and lift their pads over rugs. Neither of them washes carpet, so the deep clean still means renting a machine, booking a service, or owning a heavy upright that lives in a closet and comes out twice a year.
The R2 Pro washes carpet with heated water and dries it, then takes a different module for hard floors. That is the whole argument. It is not a better robot vacuum. It is the first machine that does the job people currently rent equipment for, and we set out the category case in full in our full explainer on carpet washing robots.
For a distributor the interesting part is that there is no shelf for it yet. It does not compete for the robot vacuum slot on price, and it does not belong next to the carpet cleaning machines because it is not one. That is a problem in a spreadsheet and an opportunity in a store, and which of the two it turns out to be depends a great deal on who is selling it.
What you would be selling
Most robot vacuums will not publish an air watt figure at all, because their motors favor static pressure and the number would not flatter them. Robotin publishes the figure full-size vacuums are judged on, which is the argument we make in detail against the Dyson Spot and Scrub. Full specifications sit on the R2 Pro product page.
Two features are worth learning before you demonstrate it. The Intelligent Dirt Detection System reads how much soil is coming back in the recovered water while the robot works, and washes a section again if it still reads dirty, rather than finishing a set number of passes and moving on. That is what a professional does by eye. And the machine is modular: one chassis, two modules, built to take further modules later.
Two things a buyer usually asks at about this point, and we would rather answer them here than have you find out later. There is no camera. Navigation is LiDAR, so do not sell it on object recognition. And the dock handles water rather than dust: it draws dirty water out of the robot and refills the clean tank, while the dustbin sits inside the module and is emptied by hand. Plenty of robots are described as self-emptying and they do not all mean the same thing.
It works with the Robotin App, Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Why we are talking to partners now rather than after launch
Because the press got there first, which is the wrong way round, and it is the reason this page exists.
The first robot vacuum that can wash a carpet just like a carpet cleaner.

It was also featured in Tom's Guide, "Best Robot Vacuums of CES 2026," which is a write-up rather than an award. CNET, Reuters, ZDNet, PCMag and TechTimes all put hands on it at Eureka Park. What that buys a partner is the part of a new brand that is normally hardest to get: a reason for a retail buyer to take the meeting.
Territories we are appointing in
Applications are open across the United Kingdom and Ireland, continental Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
The United States is the exception. We are not appointing distributors there at present while we work through a recent change in US regulatory requirements. We would rather say so on this page than accept an application we cannot act on. If that position changes we will update this page.
We have not carved the map up in advance. It is more useful to talk to the right partner and then agree a territory that matches what they can genuinely cover, than to publish a set of regions and spend the next year defending the lines. Exclusivity is available and is discussed case by case.
How the commercial side works
Rather than publish a price list that will be out of date before the product ships, here is the shape of it. Real numbers come on the first call, once we know which tier fits what you are planning.
| Term | How it works |
|---|---|
| Pricing | Banded by committed annual volume, stepping down as volume rises. Dealer pricing sits above distributor pricing. |
| Minimum order | Set per tier rather than per market, so it scales with the commitment you are making. |
| Exclusivity | Available, tied to a volume commitment and a review period rather than granted open-ended on signature. |
| Payment | Proforma for a first order, then negotiable on the usual credit checks. |
| Ordering window | Bulk ordering opens to appointed partners between January and March 2027, quoted against the production schedule at the time you order. |
| Warranty and parts | Warranty sits with us. Spare parts and module supply are agreed at appointment rather than left vague. |
None of that is unusual. We are setting it out plainly because most dealer pages say nothing at all and make you sit through a call to work out whether the call was worth having.
Certification, and what it means for your launch
CE and UKCA conformity assessment is underway, scheduled to complete ahead of the ordering window. The R2 Pro is a mains-powered appliance that heats water and dries with warm air, so the testing is thorough, and we would rather run it properly than rush a mark onto a box.
In practice that works in your favor. Everything except shipping can be settled during stage one: territory, pricing tier, launch plan, staff training and marketing assets. When the marks are in place and ordering opens in early 2027, the commercial work is already behind you rather than starting from zero.
One piece of advice worth taking whoever you buy from. If a supplier tells you their pre-production hardware is already certified for your market, ask to see the file.
What you get from us
- Product training for your sales staff, run by the engineers who built it rather than by an agency.
- Product photography, video and marketing assets, localized for your market.
- A named contact who can make decisions, not a shared inbox.
- Warranty administration handled by us, with an agreed spare parts and module supply commitment.
- Demo units for showroom and trade show use, on terms agreed per territory.
You deal directly with the people who designed the product. Decisions get made on the call rather than escalated through three layers, and if something moves on the schedule you hear it from us first. You can read more about the company on our about page.
Questions we get asked
When can I place a bulk order?
Bulk ordering opens to appointed partners between January and March 2027, once certification for your market is complete and the production schedule is set. Territories are being reserved now so that partners are ready to order the moment that window opens.
Is this a robot vacuum or a carpet cleaner?
Both, one after the other, using two modules on a single chassis. The Carpet Wash & Dry Module washes carpet with water heated to 140°F and dries it with 110°F air. The Vacuum & Mop Module covers hard floors. It argues against carpet cleaning machines on outcome and against robot vacuums on capability, which is exactly why where you place it in a store is worth thinking about properly.
What does reserving a territory actually commit me to?
A written agreement covering the territory, the pricing tier and the launch plan, plus a volume commitment if you want exclusivity. It does not commit you to stock before the ordering window opens, and it does not ask you for money now.
Do you sell direct in my market?
The product is on Kickstarter at the moment, which is a global crowdfunding campaign rather than a retail channel. Our intention is to sell through partners in appointed territories. We will talk about channel conflict openly rather than bury it in the small print.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is one, and it is set by tier rather than by market. We will give you the figure on the first call, once we know which tier fits what you are planning.
Is territory exclusivity available?
Yes, tied to a volume commitment and reviewed periodically. It is not granted indefinitely at signature.
What margin can I expect?
Distributor and dealer pricing are banded by volume, and the resulting margin depends on which band you land in and how you go to market. We will give you real numbers on the first call. We are not going to publish them here where every competitor and retail buyer can read them, and you would not expect us to.
Why are you not appointing in the United States?
A recent change in US regulatory requirements. We are working through it, and we will update this page rather than leave people guessing.
How long does it take to hear back?
We read every application ourselves and reply within five working days. If your business is an obvious fit, we will ask for a call before anything else.
Territories are being reserved now. The partners who agree terms during this stage are the ones ready to order when the window opens in early 2027, rather than starting the conversation then.
